Our Desire is to be in God's Will... all of the time

Paul's prayer for the Colossian church (Colossians 1:9-12) is our prayer:

"For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you. We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives,so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light."

Our goal is to raise up Christ-like servant leaders to reach the local community and the world with the gospel.

We do this through the spiritual gifts given us by the Holy Spirit:

1 Corinthians 12:7 - But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good.

Ephesians 4:12 - for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ;

All Christians should be growing spiritually and be involved in ministry. As a church we don't dictate the types of ministries individuals within our body should be involved with. Our direction and ministries are set by the people in our body and by their spiritual gifts.

Grace Advance

We are a part of Grace Advance, a ministry of Grace Community Church in Sun Valley, CA. This means we are lead by a Master's Seminary graduate who can call on Grace Advance resources to ensure the Word of God is faithfully taught, and the congregation is shepherded according to carefully cultivated biblical principles and practices.

Evangelism and Outreach

We believe Matthew 28 and we DO Matthew 28. This is a photo of our 2018 Clatsop County Fair booth that used dinosaurs to get people's attention. The gospel is offensive, but we don't need to be offensive in presenting the whole truth of the Gospel.

Our vision is that we are to be a fellowship of believers:

What does this mean?

A fellowship is a group of people who know each other, who help each other, who have fun together, and who cry together. They greet each other and they are interested in each other's lives and stories. They love one another.

The symbols above are the Greek word "one another." Scripture commands us to serve each other in Christ-like fellowship:

Love One Another (1 John 3:11; John 13:34; Romans 13:8; 1 Peter 1:22)

Bear one another's burdens (Galatians 6:2)

Be at peace with one another (Mark 9:50)

Accept one another (Romans 15:7)

Speak truth to one another (Ephesians 4:25)

Serve one another (Galatians 5:13)

Don't grumble among one another (John 6:43)

Encourage and build up one another (1 Thessalonians 4:18)

Regard one another as more important than yourselves (Philippians 2:3)

Be of the same mind with one another (Romans 12:6; 15:5)

Be subject to one another (Ephesians 5:21)

Don't lie to one another (Colossians 3:9)

Be kind, tender-hearted, and forgiving to one another (Ephesians 4:32)

Bear with and forgive one another (Colossians 3:13)

Seek good for one another, and don't repay evil for evil (1 Thessalonians 5:14)

Stimulate one another to love and good deeds (Hebrews 10:24)

Clothe yourselves in humility toward one another (1 Peter 5:5)

Don't be haughty (full of pride): be of the same mind (Romans 12:16)

Confess sins to one another (James 5:16)

Don't complain against one another (James 4:11; 5:9)

Be hospitable to one another (1 Peter 4:9)

Don't challenge or envy one another (Galatians 5:26)

Give preference to one another in honor (Romans 12:10)

Serve one another (John 13:14)

Through love, serve one another (Galatians 5:13)
