We follow Jesus and are commited to the word of God. However, that says nothing. Every church claims to follow Jesus and be committed to the word of God.

In summary: we are a protestant (not Catholic), we are baptistic (a person upon faith in Jesus Christ needs to be baptised in water), we are evangelical (a person needs to be born again), we are dispensation (there is a future for both Israel and the church -- there are teachings that apply to us and teachings that apply to Israel), we are cessationists (the apostolic gifts have cessed).

WHAT WE BELIEVE

1. The Bible: 2 Timothy 3:16,17; 2 Peter 1:19-21

We believe in the Holy Scriptures: accepting fully the writings of the Old and New Testaments as the very Word of God, verbally inspired in all parts and therefore, wholly without error as originally given of God, altogether sufficient in themselves as our only infallible and authoritative rule of faith and practice.

2. God as a Trinity: Isaiah 40:12-26; Matthew 28:19; 2 Cor. 13:14 ; 1Peter 1:2; Rev. 4:8

We believe in the one true God, existing as three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, each with a distinct ministry in creation and redemption: God is Personal, Sovereign, Infinite, and Eternal; perfect in Holiness, Love, Wisdom and Power.

3. Jesus Christ: John 1:1-4 14:6, 20:30-31; Romans 8:34-39

We believe that Jesus Christ is God. As God the Son, He is the world's only Savior; in His pre-incarnate existence, virgin birth, sinless life, substitution death, burial, bodily resurrection, present High Priestly ministry, and in His personal, visible return.

4. Holy Spirit: John 16:7-15; 1Corinthians 6:19; Ephesians 1:13-14, 5:18

We believe the Holy Spirit is God, the third Person of the Trinity. He, (1) convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment to come; and (2) regenerates, baptizes, indwells and seals believers; and (3) empowers, guides, sanctifies and fills believers who yield to Him.

5. Man as sinful: Romans 3:9-20, 23; 5:12-21

We believe that all human beings are created in the image of God, and are sinners and under divine judgment through a sinful nature received from Adam; as well as through moral disobedience; that man is separated from God and unable to merit salvation by any human endeavor; man's only hope is to be justified by faith in Jesus Christ.

6. Resurrection: Luke 24:33-39; 1Corinthians 4:4; Ephesians 2:2, 6:11-12; Revelation 20:7-10

We believe in the resurrection of believers unto eternal life in the blessedness of heaven, and in the resurrection of unbelievers unto eternal punishment of hell.

7. Satan: Isaiah 14:12-14; 2 Cor. 4:4; Eph. 2:2,6:11-12; Revelation 20:7-10

We believe in the existence of Satan; created a holy being, but because of pride and rebellion, lost his original position. Presently God allows him to control unregenerate mankind through blindness and deception. This evil person attempts to hinder God's purpose in both the saved and unsaved. Judged at the cross by Jesus Christ, his eternal destiny will be in the Lake of Fire.

8. Church: 1Corinthians 12-13; Acts 2:42-47

We believe that the church is the Body of Christ of which He is the Head and is composed of all true believers from Pentecost to the Rapture. Believers in any given area are to bind themselves together as a local church where the Scriptures are the source of all evangelizing, teaching and discipline; where the ordinances of baptism and communion are administered.
